ABOUT PUSHP.U.S.H. is a grassroots organization offering direction and resources to the Houston Area about skateboarding issues that affect the community. Our group stands with 40 years of skateboarding experience and the ability to incorporate the enthusiasm of the avid beginner with the vast knowledge of the seasoned professional. We at P.U.S.H. are part of the large-numbered skateboarding populace in the Houston Area that utilizes the existing resources this city has to offer. We are also aware of the social changes in skateboarding which involve the need for more established resources dedicated solely to the skateboarder. We have watched other cities in our nation embrace the concept of public skateparks by providing free and safe skateboarding terrain to the twelve million skateboarders throughout the United States. P.U.S.H. recognizes Houston's need for the same and is committed to helping it happen. Our concerns are unified but our people are diverse in many ways. If you or your organization have questions or issues involving skateboarding in Houston, we have someone who can provide answers. Whether it be special interest questions, skatepark design, fundraising efforts for your local skatepark, or community awareness, P.U.S.H. can help. All of our volunteers are fully committed to helping skateboarding grow in a positive direction.
